Havent posted for a while and wanted to update TigerScot fans on the happenings of TigerScot baseball. After our loss to Touchet, we traveled to Sherman County and lost 2 fairly well played games. Game one we led 5-2 entering the 7th but couldnt hold on and lost on a 3 run home run with 2 outs. In game 2, we started out rough but battled back in the latter frames but couldnt dig out of the hole we dug ourselves.
With a week off, the Tscots then played Waitsburg-Prescott, and did not play very good baseball. On the day we had 14 errors and over 15 walks. However, lets chalk this one up as on off day and come back ready to play and get our kinks out. Lots of mental errors on defense, pitching and hitting. Not taking a good swing in a hitters count is some of the mental approaches that we need to improve. One of the great things about this young men is they are willing to put in extra time to get better...early morning hitting, after practice help and conversations about baseball.
